Our tahini is made from a unique breed of sesame seeds that grow in the fertile soils of Humera, Ethiopia. These seeds produce a smooth a creamy texture, as opposed to the thicker, pastier textures produced by other seeds.
At Pepperwood, we use the good old stone grinding techniques used thousands of years ago, in order to preserve the exceptional nutritional benefits, rich flavor and smooth texture of this potent seed.
Pepperwood's organic sesame tahini products are approved and often used by celebrity chef Yisroel Aaroni, who is known for his specialty in the Middle Eastern cuisines, where Tahini is a main ingredient.
